Certified IPC Training

IPC Training Logo

One of our commitments for quality is to ensure DVR is keeping up with the latest IPC solder training. We have Certified IPC-J-STD-001, IPC-A-610 and IPC 7711/7721 Trainer in-house. Our in-house IPC Certified Trainer ensures all operators are well trained and follow IPC standards. The in-house Certified IPC Trainer significantly increases employee skills and performance.

The IPC J-STD-001 Requirements for Soldered Electrical and Electronic Assemblies has emerged as the preeminent authority for electronics assembly manufacturing. This standard describes materials, methods and verification criteria for producing high quality soldered interconnections for electronics products. The standard emphasizes process control and sets industry-consensus requirements for a wide range of electronic products.

IPC-A-610 Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies is the most widely used electronics assembly standard in the world. A must for all quality assurance and assembly departments, IPC-A-610 illustrates industry-accepted workmanship criteria for electronic assemblies through full-colour photographs and illustrations. Topics include flex attachment, board in board, part on part, lead-free, component orientation and soldering criteria for through-hole, SMT (new termination styles) and discrete wiring assemblies, mechanical assembly, cleaning, marking, coating, and laminate requirements.

IPC 7711/21, Rework, Modification, and Repair of Electronic Assemblies are industry standards for the rework and repair of printed circuit boards. This training and certification are highly recognised throughout the electronics industry. Many individuals have been trained and certified as IPC 7711/21- Instructors in the program. The IPC 7711/21 Training and Certification provides instructors with  high-quality materials and detailed instructional plans for training operators.
